Now that that's done picture this. You're walking along the street somewhere in Makati fresh from your jog at Legaspi. Something catches your eye. You never really noticed it because let's face it, in the morning and afternoon it's too bright to look around. You spot what appears to be another bakery but you remembered you near your home anymore, you're in Makati. Out of curiosity you take a step closer but then a guard stops you. You never realized it but you were headed towards a condo. The guard asks where you're going and you point at the mysterious bread shop. He nods in approval letting you go.

The first sign you see reads taste the Holy Grail making you question what the big deal is. Let's face it though, the holy grail, as can be found on every student's best friend (shout outs to Wikipedia <3), a cup, dish or stone with miraculous powers that provide happiness, eternal youth or sustenance in infinite abundance. This bread cube couldn't possibly be it right? It wasn't. The Holy Cheesus made me go "Oh Sweet Baby Cheesus" with how much of an experience it was eating it. Imagine eating your usual cheese sandwich. Now, bit by bit change tiny parts of that sandwich, improving upon the fundamentals of what I consider to be the perfect snack (bread and filling). Now elevate it even further using premium ingredients like sour dough bread and imported cheeses. That's how you arrive at the vessel of perfect union between cheese and bread that is the Holy Cheesus.

The Holy Cheesus comes in at 2 sizes being priced at 60 pesos and 150 pesos with 3 flavors to boot being the Holy Cheesus, Holy Blue Cheesus and the Holy Hot Cheesus. Definitely filling and surprisingly heavy, Sweet Baby Cheesus, as I lovingly call the small variant gives first time eaters a glimpse of whats to come with the cheese being found in the lining. Daddy Cheesus on the other hand proves that bigger sometimes is better. Opening it up gives a nice aesthetic of cheese bursting out the seems waiting to be devoured.
The Holy Cheesus is a specialty bread that could only be found in Boulangerie22 with branches that could be found in its website which I'll link below. As for the branch that I went to, I found myself happily in the One Legaspi branch. Definitely gonna go back because let's face it, cheese is great. There are other options as well for other interested parties with the expected cakes and pastries and other savory breads in between. There are also other choices such as soups, pastas and pizzas.
